If it is definitely a hernia (not a hydrocele), be sure that the blood supply is the baby's own blood. You can choose to have the baby's blood taken prior to surgery for use during surgery (in order to ensure that it won't be contaminated blood). It just may be possible to have nutrition repair the hernia because there is most likely no muscular exertion at all. Check Dr. Clark .
