Best book on alkalizing?

I'm getting embarrassed about asking all these beginner questions. I've read a couple of books by Robert O Young from the library, but I think there are probably better books out there. What was your favorite/most helpful book about it?

What do you think of Alkalize or Die? Is that a good one for answering basic questions like how and when to check your ph?
