These statistics do not make sense to me ! First of all where it says 345 deaths from opiate overdose in 92 only 51 from heroin and another 151 from methadone! Where is the other 163! And second I can't imagine a Methadone clinic doling out overdose amounts of methadone , so obviously they must be talking about illegal street methadone, which is not what were talking about here! Mehtadone programs do not dole out overdoses! These stratistics come in handy when someone is trying to prove a point, but it does nothing to help the user who is looking for a solution to a life and death situation!
