Re: The ultimate fast
Wonderful Salma!
We'll be here to cheer you on! I also lost more weight after the cleanse although I did lose weight on too, but I do not weigh but go by my clothes and like you say, the way you feel. I had a knee injury which was really screaming at me and now nothing. I know it is still important not to overdue it but it is not the daily reminder that it was.
I wish you the best on your cleanse and of course, you know me...ggg, I would recommend considering blogging your long cleanse since it can really help. Even if you do not do it online, a journal of your journey can be really valuable in hindsight. When I go back to the specific days I was at when I wrote a blog entry, I can remember so much more, sometimes even the way the heat of the day felt and the specific routine I followed that day. Like going to town and not having enough lemonade and feeling panicky with hunger and trying to find Blackstrap Molasses in town to take a swig of...ggg. Little things which made the journey memorable and helped me process the feelings behind my shifting relationship with food and especially food situations. I used to be too willing to eat cheese and crackers and drink wine but not any more...ggg. My friends have not especially appreciated my shift but I tell them I really like feeling so much better.
If you are going for a longer cleanse too, the
Liver Flushing prior is more important. Again, best of luck!
be happy, be well,
Zoe
