science lets you travel around the entire world once a day without even noticing. people standing (and surviving) on the outside of a sphere that spins at 1000 miles an hour as it hurtles through space above a massive ball of flaming plasma, sounds like a fairy tale. just because it's hard to imagine doesn't mean it isn't true.

evolution doesn't technically place frogs anywhere in our ancestry. mammals came from reptiles, just as birds did. monotremes are mammals in most respects, yet resemble reptiles in many ways (such as laying eggs). these are living today, platypus and anteater. the archaeopteryx bird was also very reptile-like. there are 6 different specimens and they are all known to be not hoaxes.

if you were a scientist would you let "lack of imagination" stand in your way of believing these are more than coincidences? particularly when a mechanism for it to happen exists in natural selection and mutation?
