Hi, Lisa. Well I got out a different amino acid that I stopped using several months ago called taurine. It really works!! I stopped it a while back because I thought it was making me nauseated, but it hasn't done that this time. I took two 500 mg capsules at bedtime, and slept great! I woke up each night at my usual time, but only for a few seconds, and went right back to sleep. I have read that it helps the bile flow, which according to chinese medicine, helps insomnia. I am giving up the ornithine for now. I hope this will help you, too. Insomnia can be SO disabling.
