how to make wakefulness mind on makeup time?

Hello,
I am Makup and hair Artist.I am working mostly night in marriage season.Last some days i have some issue in my mind.I can't feel fresh during my work.Because i am so much tired in night work. My friends is also makeup artist, she has a same problem. She consult doctor about wakefulness mind. He suggest one tablet which is Modvigil as cognitive enhancers. Using this tablet she working with fresh and smart mind. Is modalert any side effects or not using ? Kindly suggest
