Re: Mineral Deficiency, not sure what!

You can check your calcium status by checking your urine pH. two hours after putting anything into your mouth.(except water)once or twice per day over a few days will give you an average.
If your pH is always above about 6.5 or 6.6, below 6.3 or 6.2, or moves around a lot that would be an indication of calcium deficiency since calcium is the body's biggest pH buffer.

With as many issues as you have there wouldn't be much question that you are probably severely calcium deficient. So the pH would guide you as to which kinds of calciums would be most helpful to start. Calcium gluconate is a good one especially for young old or sick people and has a neutral effect on pH. I know you can find that as a powder without additives.

The body needs about as much calcium as all of the other minerals combined and should be the first mineral to get right.

Magnesium is a fad. Any quality diet would have greens, and since magnesium is at the heart of chlorophyll, you would be getting plenty of magnesium. Plus it is a much more stable molecule than calcium.

Excess magnesium can cause all kinds of issues including protein depletion, nitrogen deficiency, and potassium deficiency.

Vitamin D's biggest job is to help the body to use calcium. Since you are having problems with vitamin D, that would be another clue that calcium status is off.

Plus vitamin D is very alkalizing and with a low calcium status it would cause alkaline fluctuations in pH. Generally, a urine pH too high would cause constipation, not loose stools but that's not an absolute.

Most people are calcium deficient, but no one should supplement with calcium unless they know their pH status because certain forms can cause more harm than good depending on whether the body leans more acid or more alkaline.

The body needs all forms of calcium and is usually deficient in them all, but by testing urine pH you can see which forms are the most deficient so you can start moving things in the right direction.
