Blood in stool and abdominal pain
Hello there. I'm new to the board although I have been lurking for months to find treatments for my illness. I would really appreciate if someone could give me any insight. It's a long read/rant. Thanks in advance for your help.
Since the summer, I've had severe lower left abdominal and pelvic pain that comes and go. It's a sharp, shooting, aching pain. I first noticed it shortly after eating, so I began to watch what I ate. I eat pretty healthy and would still get pain. I also had to go to the bathroom within 20 minutes or so after eating.
I found a lump in my breast back in October. Turns out it was a cyst and has gone away now. Leading up to my mammogram I had really bad anxiety and panic attacks. I also had a transvaginal ultrasound. There's a 1.9cm complex cyst on my left ovary that I have to follow up on in a couple months. The end of October was when I first noticed steaks of bright red blood in my stool. For weeks there was blood, they went from soft, thin and narrow to ribbon like, green mucus, constipation, what I thought was undigested food, which might actually be
parasite eggs, and one time I saw several worms. I began a
parasite cleanse when I saw worms. I'm about 3 weeks into the detox. My stools seemed to have been improving for the past two weeks or so...more solid without any blood. Yesterday and today there's blood again.
I've seen several doctors and have had multiple test done, all which have came back fine. Doctors aren't taking my symptoms seriously because of my age (29) and "no risk factors." I've lost 10-15lbs (I'm about 115 now),there are faint lines on my fingernails, I have occasional chest pain, tingling sensation all over, muscle aches, lower back pain, rectal pain and pressure, pain throughout my abdomin, sore throat.. I could go on, sadly. I've been to the ER 2x in 1 month. Doctors told me to take Tylenol.
I've been doing my own holistic treatments while I await more tests. I saw an acupuncturist back in November. By taking my pulse and feeling my arm, he was able to tell without me saying anything that I'm not digesting food properly. I've been doing weekly treatments ever since. I do think it's helping ease some symptoms. He recommend that I have a colonic, which I did. The staff member didn't notice anything abnormal. She did mention that I must eat a lot of flax seeds. :) I've recently had an adjustment with a chiropractor. He said I have Vetebral Subluxation Complex which can cause a lot of gut symptoms I've been going through. I'm not too certain if that is the case though. I did feel a bit better after the adjustment and I plan on going back.
Here's some of the test I've had done:
Flexible Sigmoidoscopy - clear
HIV - negative
Transvaginal ultrasound - complex cyst on left ovary
Blood work - normal
Thyroid ultrasound - abnormal (follow up)
Here's what I've added to my diet:
3 cups of carrot juice with ginger, turmeric, apple,
Celery and beets
Manuka honey in Pau D'Arco tea
Flor-essence detox - I only did 2 bottles
Apricot seeds
Grapeseed extract
Cod liver oil - I've been taking for months
Black Walnut extract - about 2 weeks left
Enzyme supplement
Yoga, meditation and prayer
I requested a stool test from my doctor today. I'm hoping to get tested sometime this week.
I also want to add that I've been suffering from bouts of dissociation due to this whole experience. Everyone around me knows how I try to live a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy and working out (occasionally lol), and for this to happen to me is very surreal. The feeling of being detached from your own body and the world is very scary. I've been feeling kind of better. I just really want to heal my body, my mind and my soul.
