And my derm said that once I treat the inflammation it won't come back. Yet what I'm doing is managing, but somehow yours isn't? Just because inflammation takes longer to treat than an infection? Or because your treatment is oral and mine is oral and topical?

Doesn't make sense. You are just skewing the argument in your favor.
