This is interesting elf, I hadn't heard of using only the blossoms.  I did a quick search and found only one article that called for blossoms only, she dried them for 7 to 10 days before tincturing. 

When you order passionflower from MRH the 'parts used' are dried leaves and stems, not any flowers.

Since you can tell that its working for you as a sedative the blossoms must work.  I might have to do more research on this and see if I can't find out why nobody talks about tincturing the just the blossoms.

Beautifully strange looking flower.  Thanks for sharing!
