Re: How to make Herbal Tea

Making herbal tea is as easy as making a cup of Lipton's. Heat the water to near boiling, pour water over herbal tea (loose, bag, or in a tea ball) and let steep for 3-5 minutes, depending how strong you like it. Place saucer over cup or mug to help hold in the heat while steeping.

I don't like dealing with loose tea floating around in my cup, so I use a tea ball, even when I'm brewing a pot of tea. Concept is still the same, just pour hot water in teapot with tea and let steep. Pre-heating teapot with hot water before pouring in hot water with tea is a nice pre-step that keeps your tea hotter longer. If you're using a tea ball, just pull it out after tea reaches proper strength and enjoy!
