I could suggest a few things ( this is based on my personal experience of dealing with a nasty secondary infection after getting whooping cough ):

(1) Throw out your fluoride toothpaste!!!!!!!!!

I cant stres this enough.
Fluoride is a DNA level poison pure and simple.

Fluoride also supresses immune function and messes up thyroid operation, which in turn messes up your metabolism.


(2) Get some sun. The sun on skin makes vitamin D which is **critical** for immune function. People freak out about skin cancer, but a hour of sun a day doesnt seem to hurt.

(3) Vitamin C - when I have a flu, I take 4 GRAMS ( not milligrams ) per day. When sick you need GRAMS of the stuff.

You will know when you have too much as your body will get a gentle case of the trots ( mild diahreaha ). Vit C is mostly harmless.

(4) Garlic & ginger - these are serious bug fighters. get organic if you can. I take a thumb size ammount of ginger morning an dnight grated up with a tablespoon of honey ( to mask the strong taste ). Do not cook - it destroys the bug killing properties.

Garlic - one raw uncooked clove of garlic morning and night with a tablespoon of honey. Yes it tastes bloody awful, but it kicks viruses & bacterias ass big time.

Your wife/girlfriend will hate you coz you stink, but keep it up for at least a week, preferably two.

Shower morning and night to keep the garlic smell down as it will come out of your skin pores.

(5) Food - get rid of as much sugar, processed food and soda out of your diet. Eat as much vegies and salads as you can - organic is preferred as its less likely to have pesticides on it.

(6) Sleep - go to bed 10pm at latest.

(7) Stress - minimise stress as much as possible - buy a good book, turn off the tv and let your body rest . Rest is critical to heal.

Hope this helps - our society is so toxic and fast paced that we burn out our bodies and smash our immune system with drugs so that our bodies constantly malfunction and we wonder why!!!! Not rocket science.

Keep on the drugs the doctor has given you and do this as well if you want to.


THE KICKER

My MD gave me two lots of Antibiotics and neither really worked - which is why I went the garlic/ginger way.

Within 3 days the garlic/ginger DID WORK FOR ME.

I make no guarantees in all this, humans have the same physiology so give it a try. Obviously if you feel bad when doing the garlic/ginger thing, then stop immediately.
