Re: Link between personality and chronic fatigue

I didn't read the entire article because I feel like I already know the story LOL. But ya, it's all too familiar.
I know over sensitivity and anxiety has been a part of my life since I was a small kid, I used to cry when I would see other kids get made fun off for something totally unnrelated to me. and then when I got older and was trying to get over some terrible relationships I had a therapist tell me that my problem was that I was overly empathetic and would absorb all the yucky mojo of the unhealthy people around me.
It's so true, I didn't even know I was doing it.
I have often marveled at why horrible things have happened to friends of mine and they just bounce back like it was no big deal...
When I would be wrecked for some time over stuff that wasn't that big of deal, relatively speaking.
I have had to work with energy healers and therapists and meditation teachers to learn how to conserve and protect my own energy, release other peoples energies and basically just keep my own healthy boundaries firm.
I often felt like my being in the world was like pouring alcohol and sand into an raw wound.
What is very ironic to me is that it is just as I was really feeling strong and getting a handle on this par of myself that I got really sick.
Like I got strong enough energetically to deal and so then my body just gave in.
I very firmly believe that there is a huge energetic, spiritual healing component to the journey of adrenal fatigue and have to say that the more that I explore healing those parts of my self the better I feel physically, as well, if not just more calm and able to accept where i am in this moment.
Thanks for sharing that article, it's a good thing to consider in the big picture of healing.
