Re: TSH normal, T3 and T4 slightly high

These are the reference values:

TSH .....0,06 uUI/ml   ref: 0,4 - 4,5 uUI/ml

T3...... 206,5 ng/dl     ref: 60,0 to 215,0 ng/dl

T4 ... 12,2 ug/dl        ref: 4,8 to 13,7  ug/dl

So, as you can see, according to the lab´s references the exam  is NORMAL. And she might have already been hypo by that time and due to the stress the levels went up.

Nevertheless, she took medicine for hyperthyroidism for 8 months after that and decided to wean off them...that´s when we did the basal temperature test with a low temperature average and I ordered the thyroid formula....so what can you say about all this?

She told me that years ago her levels were definitely those of hyperthiroidism. Can that happen? She is now definitely overweight....can somebody be overweight and still have hyperthiroidism?

Shall we do another basal temperature test? Other exams?

Can she go on taking the nettle and maybe later the ashwagandha, or even the thyroid formula?
