This tells about a connection between hearing loss and the use of HRT. I was actually doing a search about something that just came to my mind. My sister has quite a bit more hearing loss than I do and is just 2 1/2 years older than I am. I'm 68. I have for a long time thought that candida can be a big cause of hearing loss and since I have the candida problem much worse than she does, I started thinking about what she takes that I don't. She has been taking HRT for quite a number of years. When I try to talk to her against taking it, she says she trusts her gyn. Then when they did a study in 2006 that had such bad results that they stopped the study before it was finished, her doctor lowered her amount. She continues to take it. She has considered getting hearing aids. I talked against that b/c of the problem of background noise. I told her about the Dr Christopher solution. She has yet to try it. I will send this to her and see if that phases her. http://www.hearinglossweb.com/Medical/Causes/horm/hrt.htm
BTW, Uny if you are reading this....can you give me a link to something that explains why you are against natural progesterone? I was taking it and have stopped and now have hot flashes. It was prescribed by a naturopath and was transdermal. Also can you tell me how much female formula I would need and what else to take with it? I have been taking three droppersful per day and that must not be enough. I sure do like that nutty taste though and it helps the horrible taste of nerve sedative when I mix them together.
