Yup, I am sure gibby! 100 percent sure. I had them, i'll never forget it either, because i worried about getting them again for years.
My butt hole itched bad, especially at night. I remember it well. I scratched my butt hole, and kind of dug in and looked under my fingernail and i saw a very very thin (hair thin) white parasite about a half an inch long moving slowly and circling under my nail.. Then it died. Gibby you need good eyes to see it or a magnifying glass. At the time we had an osteopath doc, he prescribed some medicines, and they were gone forever. That easy. But they come out at sunset, and go back in. Itch like mad. REALLY ITCH. It itched so bad i scratched all the time.
Then i have had some experience with some barn cats and some dogs too. The parasites will show themselves if a host is infected. I remember the barn cat coming up on the porch and up chucking so i could see them.
I know this is a gross topic, but i did have them as a kid and maybe what i tell can help someone.albeit if its gross.
Usually a person catches pin worms from someone else. They say its easy. From a toilet seat, a chair. thats why it goes around schools. gibby? dig with your fingernail at night, and look real close.Under a bright light. If you have them, they will move. If you had pinworms, in a way that would be a good thing, then you could get rid if them, and you'd be ok. cindy
