Hi Gina, the way I see it is that the nature of matter means that what we may call the physical world is merely how we perceive the structure of matter, the so called spiritual world is made up of the same energy as the physical world, and we are a part of this energy as well, it is all part of universal energy. For me, being awake means that I have an awareness of this concept.
