We need divided joke forums..........

I posted on the Wishful Thinking forum about my reasons for wanting better division of the jokes. The entire exchange with Invincible is here:

My post: While I normally have no problem with off color jokes, I do have young grandchildren and great grandchildren that do have a budding sense of humor. They are with me sometimes when I log on to CZ. I have stopped checking the joke forum if any of them are with me. I realize that sooner or later they will hear the same things at school or log on to a site when I am not around. I simply do not want them to grow up seeing me as a dirty old man that loves nasty jokes and checks them constantly. Most notably the one recently where Obama called someone a "white mf", 'twasn't fun explaining that one to a 7 year old.

How about an "Off Color" Joke forum, or a political joke forum. I get amused with the political jokes, but I usually put them on the political forum.

You made some really good points.

Maybe we could have 2 different jokes forums?:

1. Jokes (suitable for young children and upwards) - NEW Forum

2. Jokes (anything goes!) - EXISTING Forum

Please post this request on the webmasters support forum. Once the new forum has been created, you can then move some of the jokes you've already posted across, that way, it'll be a safe zone :-)
