"Where's Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson? Where's the mainstream media?"
"Pass this around, and maybe, just maybe, it will land in the hands of someone in the media or politics, that has the guts to stand up for the white people!! "
Beginnig to end, these look like the kinds of questions asked by somebody who either just fell off the apple truck or just slithered out from 4 to 8 years under the rock that proudly diplays a red R on its roof. Your post and history here perfectly puts into perspective what "change" generally means in this country and how it actually manifests.
Anyone with a clue knows where the media is; on the side lines, quiet & compromised, which appears to be the same place you were during the better part of the past 8 years. Up to 5 years ago you had nothing to say here, but then came the occasional glowing prase and pat on the head for G.W. Dumbo. Suddnely you've become vocal, like a stuck keyboard, ever since the election cycle. Anyone with a clue knows the media does not change, ever, even when the people vote a so-called "change". Headline: yes, the media was silent, often and repeatedly, on equally despicable crimes during 8 years of Bush. At least they are consistent in this respect. What is your excuse?
Whenever there is a change of party in the White House, the only thing that really changes is the party affiliation of those who spend the next 4 to 8 year cycle being vocal. Headline: don't be surprised if the media does not inform you of this fact. The people affiliated with the party going into power, the same who were previously quite vocal complainers, in large part suddenly go quiet. Evidence that large & loud recent sucking sound - shift change if you will - of approximatley half the voting public who slithered under their rock proudly displaying the big Blue D on top some time around November last. The flip side to this "change" is that the people affiliated with the party going out, previously in large part silent, suddely get noisy. This fact is mirrored in many aspects of society, to include the familiar partisan talk shows in the mainstream and right down to the history and character of many of the posts right here at this off-off mainstream forum, which your posts so well exemplify.
Pass this around and maybe, just maybe, proud Blues and Reds will have the guts to disassociate from their pride in this context, and thereby disassociate from the total corruption and blather of useless party colors.
