My Dr appt yesterday

I went to my internal med doctor yesterday to get my prescriptions renewed, and in talking to him I mentioned the theory about the silicone in the Mirena possibly causing auto-immune problems. He said his mother went thru that with breast implants, and then qualified it by saying that there have been many studies and they can't prove silicone is the problem, but he ordered ANA and ESR blood tests for me. I also mentioned the possibility of anemia (I think I saw it in one of mamaj's postings?) so he also ordered a CBC, which surprisingly with all the tests I've had done on me, I haven't had that one. So I'm curious to see what the results will be. I'll post back if anything interesting comes of it.
