Looking to have DNA analysis done on parasite
I have been in contact with testing lab, and was quoted for DNA characterizations of specimen. It might cost about 500-600$SD in all, so it won't happen for a while yet. But, this way I can develop assay tests for this thing!
If, and that is a big IF, this is a common
parasite that has not been recognized before, I will be the first to have a modality for diagnostic testing.
I think this is an important parasite, because it infects low priority cells in the intestine OF HUMANS, causes release of immune compounds that destroy bacteria and ultimately cause microbial imbalances in the bowel system. In my case elevated e-coli, other aerobes and penicillium. The cell metabolites are what cause majority of symptoms.
Since the
parasite is cryptic, it makes treatment next to impossible. Although, I would suspect
Antibiotics with good penetration may be viable option. Shroom
