When I juice fruits I try to get rid of only the outer-most layer of the skin, since most of the nutrition is in the actual skin, but for veggies like carrots and beets, how much do you peel? I buy organic carrots, but should I still be concerned enough to peel? Do you keep most of the veggie in tact... for example the roots of beets, or the stems (non leafy part) of spinach & parsley, or do you cut them off? Also, what of the seeds in fruits? I hear there's cyanide and arsenic in apple seeds, amongst others, but than again juicers are pretty effecient at disgarding seeds.
I'm just wondering, since it would be so much more convenient & time saving to not have to peel and cut so rigorously!
