God will cast anything not love as far as the East is from the West and remember it no more. There is fear and love in all of us. As the grapes of wrath are sown, the conservative notion of fearing death and harming others to prevent one's own death is not even going to make it through the gates of heaven to be presented as a gift to God who is love. Order and control are only mechanisms of this world. The things of this world will pass away.

Loving those who love us is certainly a prize for conservatives and liberals alike however this is a small part of the interactions each of us has with those around us. Those that do not love us is where the majority of our life is played out on the stage of life. If we spend an inordinate amount of time fearing death and those who do not love us then we may still make it to the party but there is a greater prize than just getting in... How did I treat the least of these? I believe selfishness is inherent quality of all who live in a physical body but if we are to get more of our life into the East as opposed to the West then we might want to pay attention to the Golden Rule.
