Re: how good are green food suplements???
Hi Beginnings :-),
First, welcome to Curezone :-)!
IMO the green supplements can't take the place of fresh greens in your diet (At least they sure can't with me), but they are very good as an addendum, and as a stopgap if you just can't get greens any other way for some reason.. How much good can a thimblefull of Broccoli do you?
Alkalizing drops would be the same- A stopgap and addendum, while you re-mineralize your body with healthful, nutrient-rich 'good stuff'.
If you must use a greens supplement, try to find Sun Chlorella, it's expensive but IMO it's by far the best. Second in my book is Green Magma and third is Kyo-Green.
The Moreless Alkalizing Drink ingredients are inexpensive, and the drink makes a very effective alkalizing supplement to today's nutrient-deficient diet. You can find the recipe in Invincible's Great Blog, which is listed at the top of this forum page and is called "Alkalizing My Way".
Coldwater Kelp (Norwegian is the best, but get what you can) goes along with the Moreless drink. The Kelp is necessary to the process of alkalizing, as it adds a multitude of necessary trace minerals and other nutritious elements. If you have to make a choice between granulated and powdered Kelp, take my advice and get the powder.. You'll thank me later :-).
You will need pH test paper of some kind to test your Urinary and Salivary pH, to find out where you're at and how you're doing.. I use the pH test strips from
http://www.phioninc.com and find them very easy to read and accurate. There are other types out there too, but that's the one I use.
I suggest you go to the top of the Forum page for this Forum and read the Recommended and R/N posts, that should get you up to speed pretty quick. There is plenty of info there on how to test your pH and what it means and lots of other relevant stuff.
If you can grow Wheatgrass and juice it, I strongly suggest you do that as well.
I hope this will get you started..
Post any other questions that you run into- I'm not out here too often right now, but there are several of us who have now been doing this awhile..
Best of luck :-).
Good Health to All of Us,
Ladylove :-)
PS: It's really quite easy, it's inexpensive, and the benefits are multitude.
