Hi Jon,

why would your loneliness keep you from getting your degree?

Also, I understand about being alone..without a partner, although, mine was a conscious choice. I am alone, yet rarely lonely. There is an occasional time I get lonely except I think that is more when I am 'distancing' myself from my Self.

When you feel comfortable being with your Self and can enjoy your company, then that loneliness will fade, for the most part.

You seem that you are doing things to put yourself out there. Are you 'open' to meeting others? Now, before you say something to the effect of 'absolutely', let me tell you, I have thought I was and have had friends and Sister and Sis-in-laws tell me that I have had 'a look' that said, leave me alone! Could it be you are projecting that you are not open to receiving attention?

Just some thoughts for you to ponder.
