Hulda Clark Cleanses
I am about ready to begin a 10 day cleanse because I just feel my system is out of whack both energy and immune wise. But the more research I do the more confused I get. It also seems like I should do a liver cleanse and to do that it seems i should kill parasites, but if I do that then I should do a colon cleanse. It is rather overwhelming. I have begun to lead a healthier lifestyle and am willing to make various sacrifices for my health, but cannot put myself out of commission for a few months. Based on what I read and my symptoms I feel I would benefit most from an Master-Cleanse and some Liver flushes. What are your experiences with the orders and necessities of various cleanses and how well they are compatible with the MC.

You can start with the Master-Cleanse if you are having at least one bowel movement a day. If that's not happening, then you need to improve your diet to get to that point. Here is a link that discusses all the cleanses:

Here is the order that I've been doing the cleanses:
1) MC
2) post Master-Cleanse Liver Flush (one week after Master-Cleanse when I was back on solid food using Hulda Clark method)
3) parasite cleanse (which I'm doing right now using humaworm)
4) post parasite Liver Flush ( I may try the tsetsi lime/egg/oil flush just to see how it's different)
Then I plan on taking a break from cleanses and just focus on eating right and exercising (which I'm doing now).

This is a reply to # 824,430ooohh! That's a good plan! I was planning a similar thing, though I may need to do parasite cleanse before Liver Flush. I mean, hell, I do live in south Texas with affectionate cats....and a regular parade of racoons that come in though the pet door.
Anybody else here have opinions on the parasites before Liver Flush? I know you're *supposed* to be parasite free (I've read that much), but would the Master-Cleanse have weakened the little buggers any?

The Master Cleanse is an all over body cleanse.

The reason why you want to do a Liver Flush after the Master-Cleanse is because the Master-Cleanse can be stone-forming. In the Hulda Clark FAQ, it does say that a parasite cleanse should be done before the liver flush. The order I chose to take was recommended to me by the oldtimers here in the forum. Honestly, it may be different for others depending on thier needs.
Well, let's wait and get more opinions from the experts.

There is an "ideal" order to do the cleanses and supposedly doing a PC is the ideal thing to do before the LF but I can tell you that a vast majority of folks myself included have done the LFs succesfully without doing a PC first.
From my experience and what I have seen over the years hanging out here you're not going to hurt yourself by doing these cleanses outside the "ideal" order. The way I see it the primary directive in any of this and the road to good health is all about the "doing of" and not talking it to death or whining about every thing and every aspect.
It's highly unlikely that you will hurt yourself with any of these cleanses if you follow the intructions to the letter. These cleanses are not rocket science and the intructions are pretty durn simple and straight forward. It's gonna be what it's gonna be for you. There will be highs and there will be lows that's just how it goes. Suck it up and press on! In the 5+ years I've been doing this and participating in these forums I haven't heard of a single case of anyone hurting themselves if they followed the intructions for each cleanse and didn't try to combine them or add/change anything.
The cleanses are not the answer or the destination. They don't cure anything. They just take the trash out. It is by far the easiest part of the journey to health and healing so don't make a big deal out of them. You're just getting started. It's ALL about what you do after the cleanses. Nutrition and regular exercise should be first and foremost on everyones agenda.
Try to do it in the ideal order if you can but if for whatever reason you can't, don't want to, WHATEVER. Pick a cleanse and dive in and don't look back. There is action and thinking about action. Action will always win. There is no end destination it will ALWAYS be a work in progress.
The reason for the LF before or after fasting is that when you fast and are not ingesting fats so bile production is greatly diminshed. There is a specific explanation but I don't remember the particulars but suffice it to say that when you are not producing bile it creates a condition favorable to the production of stones.
I doubt that actual stones would form during a fast since I would say they take a fairly long time to form so doing the LF after fasting from >my< perpective is more of a "precautionary" thing. In the longer fasts (21 day +) and some cases where someone might already be predisposed to stone formation then it might be a more crucial thing. Since we generally don't know the inner workings of our system to that extent then why chance it and more specifically since everyone will benefit from an LF irregardless.

I think the but pee is mostly bile in my case.
I venture to say that it is for most...yellow=bile
I think that the fat melting via the Master-Cleanse cocktail triggers the liver in
my case. Especially with the swf. That's when I pass stones.
Citrus for some reason triggers my bile ducts and I have passed
many stones while on the MC. Most can't see them unless you
strain(God, I've got some weird habits,hey look!).
Off cleanse , orange juice in qty also keeps my liver clean as well
by acting as a 'reverse enema'(that and AJ)
I have eaten pretty healthy for the last 30 years...meat free ,egg/milk free.
low amonts of cheese(none anymore),chemicals, preservatives ,coloring,etc...
I always do the Master-Cleanse program to the 'T' and get these great results....I think
that has a lot to do with it....for me the body gets in the zone only when a routine is established...bouncing around on the MC, skimping , skipping, over excercising,spoons of maple,p&b shakes,etc, in my case set me back.
I know the body is supposed to mfg a quart or so of bile a day. In my case I think that even on the cleanse I do and I credit the fat being released by the Mc Cocktail. I also think I have a really health liver that purges when it needs to.
I was under the belief that bile was produced by the body for the digestion of fat...still am...figure a pound of fat is about 3000-3500 calories, I take in 1200 calories per day on the mc(10-12 full strength mc cocktails),so those 2000+ calories are coming from somewhere,eh...
The Master-Cleanse ,when I follow the exact program, does the trick as well as any Liver Flush ever has.
I'm starting my 30 dayer tomorrow...maybe 50. I'll be a fixture here again!

This is a reply to # 824,957It is my understanding that most of the bile released when one is fasting is "old" stagnant bile. It is also my understanding that fat is a store house for toxins and that is the main reason one will lose some fat while fasting.
You actually pass "green stones" during the MC? If so this would be the first case I've heard of in all the time I have been around here.
The reasoning for waiting to do an LF after the MC till one is eating reagular and has started adding fats to their diet is so that the system will have started producing bile so one will have a more productive LF.
I would defienetly say that passing actual green stones during the MC is more of an anomaly than the norm. Whatever the reason or cause BOTI (better out than in) ;+D

I am pretty sure that I keep on making bile through out the cleanse...
as I continually have the really yellow , acidic ,butt pee...
as for the stones, they look like that Gold Rush bubble gum we used to get as kids in the little drawstring pouch...not bright yellow, but dark green or brown. If you remember dynamic tension(sounds like me at tax time) then you remember the shape of those bubble gum chunks...about a quarter inch or the largest was 3/4"...I put forth the question to everyone, have you ever passed stones on the MC...I thought I had read some posts in the past.
Great point , I mean really great, re the fat storing toxins...
a great example of that is in certain fish. Another reason to stay lean!
I think the Master-Cleanse disolves the fat or conditions the body to use the fat as fuel more readily. The steadfast fat is forced to give in by the magic of the Master-Cleanse formula.
I think that eliminating toxins is an actual by-product of The Master Cleanse affects and effects on the body...
It is really sad that I cannot find any medical data/information regarding the MC.
Wouldn't it be great to rigoroulsy monitor the blood, body fat, toxin level, cholesterol levels, white/red blood cell count etc...through out a long cleanse.
It really makes me wonder why there isn't anything documented. If so many doctors
condemn the Mc, then they are doing so by mere speculation.
I have read a few posts of folks who saw a dr during the cleanse, yet none with scientific facts and data.

I source/research for a living and it's almost scary how little there is on a man who's program has been around for 5 years...

This is a reply to # 825,922In my reading forays a definetly remember reading something specific about the greatly dimished bile production during fasting being the thing that caused the condition that favored the forming of stones while fasting. I wish I could remember the source cause there was a whole chemical explanation that went with it.
It's not the MC specifically but fasting or starving and the process of ketosis that causes the body to use up the fat reserves in the body. The theory of fasting also goes into that not just fats in particular but that the body will start using and getting rid of toxins and other crap like dead cells and scar tissue that does not support its survival and the natural state of the body which is to be healthy. So it's not any one thing but the combination of many things. The MC ingredients have certain function and components that "aid" in cleansing the system but it's the actual mechanics of fasting/ketosis that create the condition for the body to use the stored fats for energy.
If the system happens to be overburned by toxins and other possible ailments that's what will go as we have seen over and over and over on this forum with folks whining that they are not loosing weight while they're fasting. So don't be so quick to deduce that the toxin release is the "by product" of fasting.
Funny that you mention that gold rush gum in the little sack which I remember BTW. Anyways on my first MC which I did for 40 days before I knew better I did a LF on the last day and what I passed where clusters of these yellow nuggets cept to me I related the look to a cluster of bee pollen nodules. One of the clusters was about 1.5 inches long by 3/4 in wide. I even passed some black pieces and another small white piece that looked like a chunk of porous white coral. Man I freaked both in a bad way but mainly in a good way cause I felt I had dodged a bullet by getting that crap out of my system. I wish that I had the right inclination at the time to have tried to cut one of those little nodules to see what color they were inside. All my other subsequent flushes the have been anywhere browny yellowy to the later flushes being emerald green. The one common factor is that when you cut them open they are all green on the inside. Have you ever tried to cut one of them nuggets in half?
I have heard/read of cases of folks passing actual stones after ingesting particularly fatty meals with lots of olive oil for example or even stuff like ice cream but certainly never when ingesting no fats at all like when fasting. You might be a case study here D. Do you do LFs on any kind of regular basis? If so what do those stones look like?
I can almost guarantee you that the reason for lack of medical studies on the MC and many of these natural methods of healing is cause there ain't no money to be made from it and all this shit actually cures stuff unlike most drugs that simply suppress symptoms and keeps folks sick and comming back for more.
I'm pretty sure it was Zoe that posted some actual pixs of Stanley and some biographical data too. Maybe she'll read this and post it again.

As an aside, I do feel that the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) can sometimes create enough
pressure that stones just come out spontaneously. The green
softies are in your gallbladder and if you are already congested
they can be moved down and out. Detour strains more than most
of us, so notices it, but I think it is not uncommon...perhaps
next one I'll strain but probably have done so much liver flushing
now, my congestion is over :)
It would be interesting to see more info or studies on the MC,
but it must be good enough that it is still being used. Of course,
Stanley's work was based on older treatments and protocols so it
was already based in the culture, but he did standardize it...

I did a little forum search earlier this evening and while it wasn't real extensive I only found one person talking about passing stones on the MC and she passed lots and big ones too. The anomaly comes in that she was also dealing with a 8 inch ovarian cyst and I'm sure that had to be a big factor since I'm sure her liver must been way over worked by all the toxins generated by the tumor
One thing I also picked up on the search but I don't know if this is true or not is that the yellow stones come from the gall bladder and the green ones from the liver. The gist was also that the yellow ones when cut open where also green on the inside which meant they were originaly formed in the liver then moved to the GB.

We had a cheeseless pizza smothered in garlic that night. I actually had a feeling that I needed to be with him that Friday night...so I drove up to see and hang out with him...so glad I followed my feelings...something we all should do more often.
As for the medical community making any official stands on the MC, it ain't gonna
happen.
I just believe that the body and the mind are so powerful, and able to heal on their own...though the body and mind are really one...
Sadly, the medical arena tends to try to fix rather than prevent. Although, in say , the case of aspartame, many Dr.s did raise a big fuss against it...alas, the
FDA pushed it through, even against the advise of many drs and scientists.
Bottom line ...look out for number # or else you will step in #2!

Glad you brought up prevention. I think that is one of
the major goals of being here in the *Curezone*. I know
I have not given more than a couple doctors my money for
a long time and both were when I was away from home and
my herbal medicine chest. I swim in too much funky water
and so seem to have more than my share of ear issues~!
For now though, I have no shame and scarf down herbs and
supplements and strange looking drinks. My friends used to
make fun of me but then noticed I do not get sick. HA~~now
we sit around and brag on how well we are and where we are
in our cleansing goals. Im turning people on to Oil Pulling
and could probably get guru status if I worked it...ggg. Im
content to know it allows me more freedom to indulge in
alternative methods if I demystify them and encourage others.
HA my neighbor is even beginning to eat veggies like brussel
sprouts, declaring, at 60, I need to learn to be more flexible~!

Have never done a LF...did cut them in half and they were brown or dark green.
May try a Lf this time around after my break...
You're right ,Pepe...the Master-Cleanse is an aid to fasting...
I really think that it is the safest form of fasting..
at least that I know about or have tried...
I don't think that Water Fasting is safe or effective for me.
The MC's ingredients stimulate my system ... to the point of those 'durned stones'.
I'm learnng that everyone is different...it sure works for me though...in miraculous
ways.
If anything...I have learned that I should be stubborn only with myself. I guess that I have such great results from the Master-Cleanse that I want everyone else to also!
Some say one day at a time...I just envision the last day...whatever floats one's boat...or kayak in your case...of which I'm in the market for a nice 2 seater w/rudder BTW. For the ocean...something that I wouldn't be afraid to attempt wave riding in, and also could be comfortable enough to cruise for 3-4 hours.
I may hit up the dr and have some basic tests done...I have some extra $$$..thanks to positive thinking and visualization!

This is a reply to # 826,347Well then podner you should definetly give the LF a go specially if you're passing stuff on the MC. It might surprise you what you get out. I know you've read enough testimonies here that it's a hard thing to ignore. It's a painless overnight procedure with readily available components.
I completely agree with the MC being a safe form of fasting. To me plain water fasting is downright dangerous. I also agree with your approach on "envisioning" the last day. The one day at a time thing is just a worn out cliche that predisposes people to fail or, and here's that word again, whine (#39) their way through fasting ;+D
Prolly the easiest kayak for a beginer will be one of the sit-on-tops. They are wider and generally a more stable platform. They are not as claustrophobic and don't require as much skill as the real sea kayaks where you are locked and strapped inside. I will warn you about 2 seater paddle crafts though. We experienced paddlers call them "divorce boats" ;+D
The sit on tops will also be much less expensive. I tell you ,also definetly consider taking lessons it will make the experience much more fun and safer. Can't be much help when it comes to brands and models of kayaks since I'm not a kayaker at all but a fresh water white water canoeist. When I take noobee friends out on whitewater I always put them on sit on tops cause they are the easiest and require the least skills.

Ha Ha...that's a good one...divorce boats...I can totally identify...I used to have a nice Ritchey Mt tandem...you really have to be in synch w/those ,too. Every turn,
every shift...you know...you're peddling up a hill,your juglar looking like a speed bump ,sweatin' so bad you need a squeegie...you turn around and she has her feet in the air, drinking a glass of 'wine' and reading Cosmo. So rather than complain...
I switched to 'downhill extreme'! Funny, the bike got stolen from the garage right after that...When life deals you lemons...

I was there 3 years ago and went swimming with that one pod of dolphin that lives in those 3 bays south of Kona. I was talking to a guy that lived there and he said that if you come there to those bays in March that you can also swim out from the beach and go swimming with humpback whales. Have you done that?
