I couldn't handle the feeling guys, i'm sorry. EXTREME gasses and bloating while I got off Paragone. I took some dexamethazone, which I take for my IBS/Ulcerative Colitis, when I have a flare up, 20+ bowel movements a day with gas and bloating. Breaking the Vicious Cycle calls GAS the number one enemy, this amount of gas may have set you back months healing wise.
My 2 cents worth:
- Go on SCD or Atkins, you MUST eliminate gas
- Start using Ozonated water, I can't believe the intestinal change since I started
- Use good and large amounts of probiotics
- Work on your ileum if it isn't closing properly NOTTHING you do will work
Once those are done you can start some cleanses etc. But from my experience without the elimination of gas you truly live the "Viscious Cycle".

Good info but Jonn Matsen from http://www.eatingalive.com adds some more reasons why this valve is so screwed up with most people.
All that said I still ended up with flare ups every so often and finally the Magnetic Pulser did the trick during those flare ups.

This is a reply to # 765,386newport, do you think its not a parasite causing my IBS/Ulcerative Colitis symptoms!?!? I have never seen so many floating yellow stone-flake like things in my stool after starting the Paragone. I was thinking of getting a parasite test and finding out exactly what it is causing it. Along with the IBS/Ulcerative Colitis, i have unclear thinking (brain fog) and mild Depression which comes and goes. What you think about the test!?!?

But I can guess; I say the chemicals released by parasites cause IBS/UC.
The cure is a lot more complicated since there are more issues involved when IBS is part of the symptom chain. Regardless, no parasite herb will help with a dysfunctional ileum; the “Vicious Cycle” must be stopped first.
As for testing; great if they can find something but IMO the deck is stacked against us. Blood tests now first electrify the blood so where 20 years ago a technician would have diagnosed parasites they are all zapped and the computers won’t pick them up. As for stool samples I have yet to have a positive one, but meanwhile I could post pictures that would make everyone (except those testing) positive of parasites.

This is a reply to # 765,933True but Echinococcus is on my suspicion list. Had the antibody test but that came in negative so I gave up for a while. However I found out that even these antibody tests have a high percentage of false negatives...

The old herbalists used to diagnose diseases by which drug would work best.
The best drug, by that I mean symptom free, for me was Bing Lang http://tcm.health-info.org/Herbology.Materia.Medica/binglang-properties.htm
Even taking Bing Lang Wan (formula) did very little, only large dosages of Bing Lang worked, this pretty much limits it to round worms.
Only two species require VERY large dosage, Ascaris and Echinococcus. Add to that; I grew up in an area which was later labeled as Fox Echinococcus epidemic area.
Bing Lang is on the restricted list of herbs and almost impossible to get here right now. After all if you chewed a few pounds of Betel Nut for 12 years you have a statistically higher rate of mouth cancer so the government is here to protect us. Wonder what chewing large amount of Sugar for 12 years does…

This is a reply to # 766,022Hi Newport....I've seen bing lang for sale at a few sites, and was thinking of getting some....is it not really this easy to purchase, but still on their product list? I've read that it is a toxic herb so I'm hesitant, how much did you have to take to see results? I'm about to try out some other chinese herbs, see if they do anything, things like omphalia, melia root (also toxic I think), and fei zi....if anything works I'll post it.
Must get me a blood pulser, you and rabbitears are convincing me! Do you think that lite version sp will be good enough?

The Lite does EVERYTHING the full version does. The full version is lighter in weight, has a strap to allow full mobility while wearing it, and comes with larger silver rods so making 1L vs. 500ml of CS.
But if you are going to wear it while watching the tube then the SP-Lite is all you will ever need.
On Bing Lang, I can't get it here; Chinatown has been raided by the Gestapo too often. I do know of at least one store that carries it but that’s just a little too far away for me plus the SP seems to-do the trick so far.
As for toxicity, all good herbs (as well as medications) are toxic. Without that they won't work, however we can estimate the toxicity by looking at average Bing Lang usage in Asia. 1-2 pounds of nuts are eaten daily, and it takes 12 years for some to get mouth cancer. Of course we don't need 2 pounds nor do we chew them. Plus these studies neglect to tell you that everyone eating that much Bing Lang also chain smokes.
The other study on toxicity has already been refuted by more studies, the last few split the euphoric effect into two categories. One is the CNS hit which is sort of like chewing tobacco the other is the expansion of bronchial tubes and extra oxygen entering the body. I get that same now using ozonated water but it sure did feel great while using the BL.
I found making tea from the finely ground nut was the best effect, but you got to gulp it because it will make your mouth num.
Bing Lang, and for most Bing Lang Wan is one of those great TCM formulas that doesn’t actually kill the large worms but puts them to sleep. Having a large worm decay in your body can cause a whole lot of other issues so the theory is to disallow them to feed and this way kill them off slowly.
As for the ones in your intestinal track the Wan (formula) includes mild laxatives.

This is a reply to # 766,131Interesting stuff. I think the lite version will do fine for me. I'll probably try bing lang too at some point. It's good to rotate herbs I find, they get used to stuff very quickly with me... so I switch things around, try to mess them up as much as I can. We'll see how it all goes....thanks for writing.

This is a reply to # 765,462There is new research out right now that links a covert bacterial infection to diseases like ulcerative colitis (and many other autoimmune disorders).
I am looking at Sheldon's vitamin E enema that he invented, which seems really presumptious to call it a cure. But I emailed him and he said he didn't have any other symptoms except the colitis. For his case, it could have been very effective. Depends entirely on what was causing his colitis. Understanding the disease process in the individual is really the key to resolving it.
You and I, on the other hand, have neurological symptoms and other reasons to suspect a bacterial influence. I have UC also, and unclear thinking/brain fog and Depression that comes and goes. These, among other things, are common symptoms of the new name for autoimmune disease, which is "TH1-mediated inflammatory disease" or "TH1 disease".
Email me if you want more information. I can't promise anything, because I haven't tried it yet myself. But the Science is really sound.
