hi Evelia
the following links should be of great help to you.
One wants to remember that curing serious diseases take a comprehensive life style change involving any number of healing modalities and a complete change in lifestyle for then the body can heal itself when we work to produce outstanding levels of health by doing something such a Dr Schulze's save your life program which the original poster, Wolfe was very into.
Counting on a single herb/food is generally not going to cure the underlying cause of the disease.
I know that okra help diabetes and I have linked to that post on it and I know the water thing I list in the post entitled --works like a modern day dialysis machine -- will be of help.
I also feel one must keep in mind that people have done the incurables program and all it entail and gotten off dialysis despite any worries. had they worried about doing things that healed them they would not have done it and gotten healed.
Please see all these links with the bet being the long one that ends with the number 63

sometimes it does happen on less as it did with this women which you could try what she did but generally a comprehensive multi-faceted approach is best for a serious disease
As far as okra, I saw this one site where it said it was not considered a high potassium veggie.
http://www.evi.com/q/is_okra_high_in_potassium
Also they say one can leech some veggies and then use them as this reduces potassium but you want to be sure you do not cook them or use water above a certain temperature so the produce items can remain raw and healthy. also not sure if this damages its effect as a dialysis aid.
8. LEACHING VEGETABLES-
Preparation of vegetables can leach out high levels of potassium. This can
be done with Potatoes, Carrots, Beets, and Rutabagas.
To leach your vegetables
•
Peel vegetables and place in cold water.
•
Slice vegetables (1/8 inch thickness)
•
Rinse vegetables in warm water for a few seconds.
•
Soak for a minimum of 2 hours in warm water.
•
Soak vegetables in 10 times the amount
of water as the amount of vegetables.
For example, if you are soaking 1 cup
of vegetables, add 10 cups of water.
•
If soaking longer, change the water every four hours.
•
Rinse under warm water again for a few seconds.
•
Cook vegetables with five times the
amount of water to the amount of
vegetables. For example, if you are cook
1 cup of vegetables, add 5 cups of
water.
For
Squash, Mushrooms, Cauliflower, and Frozen Greens
•
If vegetables are frozen allow thaw
ing to room temperature and drain.
•
Rinse vegetables (fresh & frozen)
in warm water for a few seconds.
•
Using warm water, soak for at least 2 ho
urs, with ten times the amount of water
as the amount of vegetables. If soaking
longer change the water every 4 hours.
•
Using warm water, rinse the vegetables again for a few seconds.
•
Cook vegetables using 5 times the amount of water as the amount of vegetables
Of course one does soak the water when making it in the form that helps diabetes and enhances the mucilage that I linked to and so this might work here too and also by doing it that way it will increase the mucilage which is often the most healing part of the plant. It will reduce the potassium content automatically as one is already leeching the veggie when taking it as Wolfe directed which involves soaking it in water (one of the step to reducing potassium content via leeching
As far as heart attacks see both posts in this thread

get on organic hawthorne tincture and cayenne to protect the heart and know what to do in case of heart attacks as dialysis increases risk of heart attack 30 times.
hi zeberman
see the post I just did on the okra just before this one to Evelia and see the links I have provided especially the one ending in 63..many many suggestions there.
Be sure to read the link on Schulze and how he treated kidney patients and how he modified the incurables to fit their needs. (there are several of these linked above).
be sure to see page 24 section 14 of his book 25 ways to have the cleanest kidneys for him talking about people who did the incurables and got off dialysis.
found here

I think some of the people who come up to Dr Schulze at his conferences (he said he gets one every lecture in his book) well I am sure many of them followed his protocol with no modification so they did do the potassium bros and all the rest but I do not think it would be of harm to leave it out or modify it to make it with some lower potassium veggies to make it lower in potassium content.
The thing to remember is they did it, but now we know how to modify it for kidney patients which many of them might not have known just going on the patient handbook as he had not put the info on ho he did it in the clinic in his blog yet but now in the link ending with the number 63, we see his modifications towards the end of the thread in the posts starting with at least Schulze speaks...
and as far as fluids see this post

Definitely get on blood cleanser for the kidneys organic burdock root tincture whether on dialysis or not as this helps to clean the blood or assists with additional blood cleansing if on dialysis and organic parsley root
tinctures which reduces edema a lot.
When my mom took these a week before she died of a heart attack, she said it was the first time in 2 years she was not deathly sick after dialysis and felt perfectly normal something he had not felt in 2 years. Herbpharm is a good brand and the one I gave her but they did not sell parsley root get an organic tincture online or make your own which is what I did using the parsley root sold in the produce department at meijers.
As far as anemia, I have mild anemia and just today saw this herbs called dang shem is of help to hemoglobin, hematacrit and red blood cells.
