> I have recently read Dr. Clark's
The Cure For All Diseases and this has inspired me to try once again to do a bowel and
parasite cleanse.
Don't believe everything you read in that book. We can all be greatful for the fact that Dr. Clark raised the awareness of dangers of parasites, but her recomendations are not going to cure most people; they may bring some relief. She also failed to mention most common parasites, which is a major weakness of her work.
> In the past, I have tried
Master-Cleanse and enemas as well as psyllium (but no bentonite).
Enemas are the best thing you can do for your health, having
parasites or not. Keep it up.
> My first question is regarding reinfestation of parasites. I want to use Dr. Clark's zapper in conjunction with a
parasite cleanse but I'm wondering how worth it is it?
It's a waste of money and time. No one on these pages, or from people I know personally, experienced total cure with zapper even when combined with dr. Clark's herbs.
> There are certain lifestyle changes that myself or my family cannot make and therefore we might be subject to reinfestation.
You can still wash your hands religously, and make sure that the food you eat is sterile - wash it in salt water and vinegar, or carry a bit of
Iodine with you to clean your heands if you have to eat with your bare hands... And never assume that foods prepared by others (especially restaurant food) is sterile. It never is.
> I will say that I don't have a severe illness or even strong evidence of
parasites (except what I suspect is occasional IBS).
IBS is a proof that you are infected with parasites, or with something else, like bacteria or at least candida. I think that IBS is mostly a proof of parasitic infection. Most parasitic infections take years or sometimes decades to start bothering us.
> Would it be ok to go ahead with the
parasite program and zapping though I will not be able to make all of the lifestyle changes are does this not make any sense as reinfestation is imminent?
You didn't explain why is reinfestation imminent. If it really is, then taking medications and herbs will only serve to make those
parasites restitant to them which is very dangerous. All parasites can develop resistance to drugs and herbs.
> Perhaps doing all of the changes is not so essential to me as I am not ill yet?
Maybe better to wait until you can prevent re-infestation.
> Secondly, I am investigating a method of birth control that does not use hormones. The type my doctor recommended is an IUD called paragaurd. It contains copper which I heard can be bad for the body. Dr. Clark suggests removing all copper plumbing in a house and not drinking any of the water from copper pipes. The brochure I was given with the paragaurd states that the copper in paragaurd will not harm the body and that any amounts released into the body are no more than the amounts you would get eating foods containing copper.
Brochure is a sales pitch type material. It is not meant to inform you, but rather to make you buy their product. All IUD work by irritating your uterus and it's lining so that an egg cannot attach itself to it. Basically it is an inflammation of your uterus. Does it say that in the brochure? Didn't think so. Go to "mirena" forum on curezone and read how many women had terrible problems due to that IUD. It is a different IUD, but it works on same principles.
> Aren't the two types of copper (those derived from food and those that are from man-made products such as paragaurd) different?
Copper is not so much of an issue. It is a fact that you are putting a foreign body in your uterus. It was never meant to be there, so simply put - it shouldn't be there. To illustrate the point: put a piece of plastic in your mouth, anus, ear, or nostril and see how you feel... and then keep it there for months.
> Can this paraguard be ok to use in the body?
No.
> On another note, I have copper pipes and cannot change them at this time. Should I use a water filter (which Dr. Clark says doesn't always work) or stick with bottled water? Which is the lesser of two evils?
A good water filter is better. Reverse osmosis, and Aquasana are probably the best. Most cheap water filters are not good enough.
> Lastly, Can anyone advise on a good cleanse for the colon?
Enemas combined with fiber rich foods are best.
> Something that includes a bit of variety for a thorough cleansing? When I did MC, I got constipated and had vomiting and had to stop. Same thing when I took Psylium. I think this could be either because of being constipated or simply because of the texture of the psyilium drink (I'm really sensitive to texture at times).
- Your reaction to cleansing could be a VERY dangerous sign. Do not attempt further cleansing before you find out FOR SURE why you had such a reaction. First of all: all cleansers do one and the same thing: they stimulate your intestines to work faster, which in the end causes diarrhea. In doing that, they also push some old junk that was just sitting stuck to your intestines, and it goes out, which is a good thing. So it is very strange when someone takes a cleanser and ends up being constipated. It usually means something got stuck (sort of like when you have your toilet stuck, and you add more water and then it gets even worse). Two things can cause that: you may be overloaded with parasites, and they all get pushed at the same time which then causes a blockage which you experience as constipation (happens mostly with some type of roundwarms). Throwing up would follow that. The other very likely possibility is that a part of your colon or intestines is inflamed. This causes the colon to become hardened and to expand somewhat. The part of the colon that is above it can then drop into the hardened part in a process called "vagination". Basically the softer part penetrates the harder part. This causes obstruction and is a life threatening condition. I know of one child who died from that. It is also very hard to diagnose.
I've never heard of anyone having your symptoms after taking a cleanser, so you really need to investigate those two possibilities. Better to find out that there is no obstruction then to find out about it the hard way, in a hospital emergency room.
> Would a cleanse using capsuled supplements (such as encapsulated psylium) work just as well?
In doing what? If you have an obstruction they could kill you. Don't experiment before you find out why you didn't tollerate it before.
> I would be willing to try psylium again if I could just be sure I was using it right and not get such a bad reaction again. I wouldn't mind trying a more drastic cleanse or fast if the duration wasn't too long as I can't seem to tolerate that either. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, thorough cleasning regimen? I have tried reading several of the posts around and while I am able to gather bits and pieces, it is tough for me to put a routine together. I would appreciate any help anyone can provide! Thank you all! :)
In your place I would first adjust my diet to something that doesn't feed parasites very well. No carbs in your diet, no milk and nothing made from milk, only salads, cooked veggies and meat (chicken and fish). Nothing sweet, not even fruits except for grapefruit, apples, some pears and some seedless grapes. That should make you feel a bit better and should weaken whatever it is that you have. Hopefully that will reduce whatever was causing that blockage (if it was a blockage in the first place) and then you may try some new cleanser. Many foods are cleansers as well: whole grain breads, almonds, salads, grapes, pears...
You can also take vitamin E, 400UI a day, and vitamin C, about 500mg in the AM and PM after a meal. Then increase Vitamin C to 1000mg after every meal, but increase gradually over a period of few weeks. Both of these will reduce any inflammation you may have, and will boost your immune system. An overdose of Vitamin C can also serve as a cleanser, and a very gentle one. But I would not try that until you find out for sure why you didn't tollerate cleansing products before.
