that's a tricky question
Fruit is a no no as far as I am concerned. Low in
Sugar fruits still contain sugar.
cheese is also a concern as it contains lactose which is a sugar.
I know the diet is tough. I have been on a strict diet for 2 years and counting now. It is not easy although I am accustomed to it now and have made alot of progress for my effort.
But just know that the job of yeast is to break down sugar. So obviously eating
Sugar causes yeast to hang around. Whether a little or alot , it is still getting fed.
The problem is that if you do not get rid of it and are slowly feeding it, you might not even know until the symptoms get slowly worse and worse. That is what happened to me. They did not start out all that bad, so I ignored it. I made a few dietary changes but not enough and while that may have slowed down it's progress, it did not really kill any of it. It took years , but one day I became very ill and it was all downhill after that.
So while it all does depend on how sick you are , if you are really serious about ridding yourself of it , you might have to get tough with it.
Maybe try just eliminating the fruit since that is way too much sugar. You should be able to get away with cheese If it is fresh and IF they do not use mold inhibitors ( neomycin etc). Cause that will do you in.
The way to go about this is to look at ingredients and the
Sugar content. Try to cut sugar where you can. INcrease your fiber intake. What is very good is eating raw salads with crushed garlic. If you must eat cheese look at the sugar content, some might have less than others.
Find other things to eat. Sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds are good. I throw sunflower seeds in my salad for a crunch. Soups are good with veggies and lentils , very filling. Organic eggs you can make alot with. Make a quiche etc. I also like to make myself veggie stir fry with plenty of onions garlic and olive oil.
There are cookbooks out there to give you ideas. But if you are not making progress, and potentially getting worse you will need to look at what you are eating that is still feeding it. Otherwise being on a diet at all is a waste of time.
