just delivered the most asinine introduction for the iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad i have ever heard in my life. he called him a petty dictator, a human rights violator, a holocaust denier and a terrorist supporter. i tell you now, the world should embrace such a brave man as this instead of trying so hard to demonize him. but more importantly, they should listen to him and consider what he says.

this man is an educator too. he is no fool. that he makes claims to his own people to appeal to their emotions is no different than politics in the rest of the world.

he says that the nucear powers in the world misuse their power. true. he says that the powers in this world hoard their technology and keep it from others. true. he says that the powers in this world go around the world and destroy their cultures and enslave them through fear and lust of material goods. true.

he just got through with a frustrated tirade saying that they have made deals with the US, britain, france, canada and germany for peaceful nuclear power and after they have paid thne they get embargoed. basically, he said they have been ripped off to the tune of 5 billion dollars. then he almost pleads with the western world to lift the embargo so they can buy parts for their public airplanes.

he is asked if he will stop supporting terrorism(like asking how long youve been beating your wife). he says, look. we are victims of terrorism. he infers that the west is in the middle east and enciting terrorism. i agree.

question: why call for more research on the holocaust? he basically responds, what are you afraid of? how can research be bad? how can the search for knowledge be wrong? the fact is, he is accused of coming to the question with preconceptions and misconceptions. the fact is, the western view of the holocaust is wholey biased and completely based on misconceptions and preconceptions. when countries in europe make questioning(researching) the holocaust illegal, that speaks for itself. that says everyting, in fact. people hide when they know they have done evil.

they have him defending human rights in iran. he points out capital punishment in the US. this guy doesnt like hypocracy. neither do i. he points out the free elections and womens rights in iran. he is right. he says that in iran there are not homosexuals. the students are laughing. so much for cultural diversity. i guess its ok if its not too diverse.

he calls for more investigation on 911, in a round about way. he knows and i know that it was an inside job. a giant con job.

he says they do not believe in atomic bombs in iran. he said that nations who continue to develope nuclear weapons are retarded.

they question the way the world is being run. they want talks and do not believe in resolving problems with guns and bombs.

the shah was a western supported dictator. now iran has democracy. saddam was a western supported dictator. now there is civil war in iraq and we are in the middle(my comment).

if allowed, iran can be one of the US's best friends. he invites the students to come to iran and visit. they are officially invited. come to any of the over 400 universities there.
