Hello, I am interested in completing a fast of 21 days or more and am interested in the effects that it would have on facial fat. I am a thin girl but have a round face which i really like and I feel gives me a youthful and healthy appearance. This is a huge reason on why im hesitant to complete a long fast. I think it’s some sort of detoxification symptom. I also feel extremely tired and sleepy when I fast during the first few days but it soon goes away. Hopefully you get the same results from the oil pulling.   [End]

I think that they’re a lot of people that are uneducated on what healthy eating ACTUALLY is and what having a healthy lifestyle looks like. So many misconceptions and contradictions out there. They should at least implement this stuff in school systems, I think it’s just as important as anything else they teach. Hello, I’ve been suffering with (what I think is) a mild case of demodex for a few years now. Also read Sheltons book on fasting and sunbathing. He gives different testimonies of clients that he treated with fasting and how they had very different bowel movements throughout their fasting journeys. There’s a lot of conflicting information out there and you’ll just drive yourself crazy trying to figure it all out lol. I’ve had very minimal cravings and hunger pains and I’m just taking it one day at a time..I do think that adding stuff to the water (like lemon,salt etc) does take away from the intensity of the cravings but also takes away from the full benefits you could receive on just water. Im fasting to accelerate the healing of some scars and my skin in general. Its super dry/flaky and sensitive and I also break out into rashes and hives if I overhandle my skin or use chemical laden products etc (sort of like eczema/ sebhoreic dermatitis). Although Ive never gotten a diagnosis, Im pretty sure that Im suffering from a mild version of those two skin conditions and Im pretty sure theyre still only ”mild” because I haven’t used any cortisone/steroid creams and etc to treat it haha.. You have nothing to digest so I’m guessing that’s why you’re not pooping? I think its normal and nothing that you should be worried about. In the last month Ive attempted to fast 3 times. The longest that Ive been able to fast has been 4 days. Ive been trying to attempt a 21-25 day fast but I can never seem to get past the 4 day mark :/ Its never because I get hungry or gve into my hunger cravings, (I can fight those off pretty easily!) my issue is the feeling of emptiness and also not tasting anything for long periods of time! What is the best way to cleanse before fasting? What are your food plans/diet before doing a fast? Is it possible to detox for a few days only and then start a medium length fast?
