Hi,
I found your post thread searching for help for myself. I was surprised to see someone who has almost the same symptoms I have been experiencing for the last 2 days. Especially since others didn't seem to relate.
The strange thing is, I was trying to remember if there was anything that I had done that led to the pain and then I remembered that I had tried OP for the first time. Which wasn't a good idea in the first place because of the risk of over detoxing, which I think is part of the problem.
I have pain in the left jaw, ear and the back teeth (wisdom, prirmarily). I have long suspected there is infection lurking under that whole side. I have chronic fatigue.
The other thing is I had all of my silver fillings removed 4 years ago. But I had lots of gum infections before and occasionally since. More as of late.
Back to OP. I only did it once and for about 3 minutes. I still suspect that it may have been enough to stir up the infection. I have also increased my salt water intake which could also stir up trouble too quickly if one is not careful.
Things I think are helping are a tea called sympacho (synfre, lapacho, mate), and NO SUGAR of STARCH, not EVEN brown rice or anything. Seems to make it worse and I supspect the rice to got things going. So Anti-candida diet for me and I have been taking lots of kombucha, kefir and beet kvass and carrot juice all from scratch. Also taking Immunity and Viragon herbal formulas, aloe vera juice, and ACV. Tried oregano oil in ear, really hurt.
Any thoughts? Oh and it has only grown worse even though I haven't done any OPing since Friday morning.
Do any of you think I should consider more OP to try to pull the infection? Pain relief would be very welcome here, It reminds me of when I had the mumps (long ago) Hurts to chew.

Hi
My wife has been oil pulling for nearly a month..she stopped for a couple of days and has got a severe pain in ear/teetha nd jaws specifically the left jaw. She has some old fillings almost worn out in the lower left jaw. However the pain is there even in the upper jaw...similar to yours..diificult to eat or chew. She's taking a pain killer -co-dydramol - which seems to be more effective than paracetamol - might need a prescriiption though. Pleane check suitability from a doctor before using.
The ear pain has now reduced but the jaw tooth pain still remains and radiates above the eyes on the left. She's still OPing in the hope that the jaw pain is a temp issue
I wonder if this pain could be due to the elimination of normally useful bacteria in the mouth which latch on to the mercury from the fillings!
Hope you get better..let us know if it goes away if you stop OP.
Regards
