I have been doing Oil Pulling for 5 days and using Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to combat my bad breath and to whiten my teeth. Recently I noticed 4 straight gray transparent lines on my 4 front upper teeth. Here's what I mean:

Should I be worried about this and should I continue the Oil Pulling?

Also, I've ordered a pack of Crest Whitestrips Supreme and haven't received them yet--is it safe to apply them?

  I noticed today that if I rinse my mouth with hot water my top front 4 teeth and my lower 4 teeth hurt just a little.
  
  My lower 4 teeth have enamel loss right at the top which is 1 millimeter in height.

    the live part od the tooth is the dentin, enamel protects these dentin so you don't fell any heat, cold, etc. I you are getting some sensitivity it would be good to buy a tooth paste indicated for sensitivity, and go to your dentist so he can make a fluoride treatment. enamel when you lose it you never get it again

  yes, you can be losing enamel. products used on the teeth can thin it. be careful. peroxide can cause sesitivity if used constantly. this should answer most of your questions:
