I tried Candizyme, which is basically the same, which is digestive enzymes, specially protease and cellulase.
I got excellent results with that. In fact, also by taking extra regular enzymes with meals. Enzymes made my bowel movements regular and lower my bloating to almost nothing.
However, 2 things to consider:
1. It helps with the die-off, since it kills and digests many of the yeasts parts (the outer and inner parts), but you will get die-off still. At least I get it, and on an empty stomach enzymes may irritate your gut lining a little, depending on how much you take and how sensitive your gut is. You may get cold hands and feet as well since enzymes may initiate a metabolic hype that regulates your blood
Sugar levels and suppress you Thyroid a bit, this is an indicator that Candida is inside you since it messes with the same metabolic signals (Candida eats your
Sugar reserves, but the
Sugar you eat tells your body that sugar is comming, so the body is expecting more. In short, the body gets confused and a false hormonal signaling takes place, with no major consequences, except that when Candida is killed in large amounts, the body already adjusted to the false signals and when more glucose is suddenly available, the Thyroid hypes to take control, but in the interval it takes to adjust you feel cold)
2. Beware that protease may also kill your good flora. In the end, friendly bacteria have a lot of protein in their cell walls too. I highly recommend you to take probiotics while on the Candigest, and take them separately, at least 3 hours apart to be safe.
