Hi guys
I have been soaring through this website searching for my question whether I passed calcified stones or not. Some say they are hard like rocks which could scratch your rectum, some say they are not as you can crush them. I am having calcified stones which could be seen through Ultra-sound. I just did my 2nd flush yesterday. Like the first time, I passed out some greenish pea-size grease playdough-like stuff and this time a huge 1 inch ball. I picked it up and examined, it was soft like playdough that I can crumble it. I really want to know if they are stones or just " poop". I really appreciate your help. Thanks a lot, Julia

I understand that calcified stones are hard. And also that they show up on ultrasound.
It is important to try to soften or break them up. When they are too big they would have trouble coming out.
On the other hand when you keep trying to improve the health of your liver and gallbladder, there might be a point that they will have a nice smooth side and that they will be pushed out, because your gallbladder is able to do that stronger push.
My gallbladder has gotten healthier, no inflammation, wallthickness back to normal from 42 mm to 3 mm. I still have a 2.8cm stone.
I keep doing flushes and keep working with softening herbs.
And hope for the best. Also hope that I won't get new ones.

This is a reply to # 95,054How did you find out the wall thickness? Ultrasound tech tell you? I didn't know they could do that.
They made no subjective or other comments about my GBladder except that I had stones.
Learning is great when it helps avoide surgery! Thanks for the feedback.

It is very important when you have an ultrasound done, that you ask for a copy of the results.
It won't only say that you have stones. It will give much more information. Often the size of the stones, inflammation or not. But also what your kidneys and spleen look like etc.
So in my case got the info of the inflammation and wallthickness from the 1st US. It also said that the stone was in the neck of the gallbladder and I assume that's what hampered the bile flow and created the problems.
I have to stop for now, I'll continue later.

My brother is here from Europe, so I wanted to talk to him.
So now I have to figue out what else I was going to say.
My gallbladder is back to normal except I have still the 2.8 cm stone. It is now free floating so it does not block the duct.
The 2nd US was after 10 months. BTW I also had a spot on my spleen and on the 2nd US it was gone.
Now I am working on taking softening agents and hope the calcified stone might get smaller or breaks up and hope some day it will disappear. I have done 22 flushes and try to do them every 2 weeks.
I have only gotten soft stones out, never a calcified one.

But I think maybe again next weekend.

This is a reply to # 95,085I've just done my first flush and was disappointed with the results. After reading your posts here, I have a feeing that I have calcified stones too. They were definitely mentioned in the ultrasound report.
Do I remember reading somewhere on this site that drinking applejuice first thing in the morning and last thing at night will help soften these stones?- Gold Coin Grass to soften stones #21204

I also remember reading somewhere about apple juice which helps to soften stones. For me, I use Gold Coin Grass by ordering through www.sensiblehealth.com. GCG also help with the pain too. I am planning to do 2 more flushes b/4 going for another Ultra-sound. That way I can make sure whether the things I passed out were stones or not. Take care, Julia.
