It depends on if you had an infection before they were pulled. Also, had they been pulled by a biologic dentist, I would say no, because they clean out all infection and pull the periodontal ligament.

yeah, that is typical for non-biologic dentists. it's too bad they don't pull the periodontal ligament, as it creates a cavitation nearly 100% of the time in wisdome teeth. the antibiotics are not necessary unless there was a prior abcess/infection. in fact, they hamper healing. be sure to have the cavitations done at some point. you wil need to consult a biologic dentist to have it done, as regular dentists do not know about them.
