That was helpful to me to read about the breathing probs from a swollen gut.
I've been experiencing similiar problems breathing - tho' I didn't really know what was going on ecause it feels like extreme anxiety [but I have nothing to be 'that' anxious about].

For me, it is IBS bloat, maybe "dysbiosis" like H Pylori can do, like your dad has.

I bet it is like you say - diaphragm can't move due to restriction of bloating. Thats what it feels like to me.

I have to get my bowels moving, sometimes using the herbal laxitives, even taking a whack of olive oil oraly - yuck, use s straw - to soften up hardf stool, and olive oil can help a gallbaldder right away too. [his is likely bothering a bit, he may not know it tho'. ]
The bowels can cause that bloating too - its amazing how much "extra" stool we can have - one day of good pooping won't clear it all. Its astounding how much there is.Don't try to clear it all in one day or he iwll shy away from the whole deal [its gets to be 'distrubing', uncomfortable mentally, to push so much poop].



The cure will be to knock back the H pylori and let the good bacteria have a place to grow. My son has an ulcer, both my [grown] sons actually, from H Pylori.\, we think. my goal for them is to deal with the h pylori.

So what to do?>
First a master cleanse, good you did that.
Then some Colloidal Silver maybe -orally- to kill off the H Pylori. And under the tongue to do that job systemically too.
Maybe some Bio-electric Zapping...

Maybe some H202, food grade dilution. orally and topically, exp in the mouth to get a clean start to digestion.

Oregano Oil drops, and lots of cayenne, as much as you can stand. His Arthritis will ease up too [he does have it, I'll bet!

Other herbs are Saw Palmetto , and several others, but please research these yourself... or find a herbalist and get them to make you up a mix for his condition.[but take what they asy with a grain of salt - yuou are just ther for herbal advice, but they will want to take over...[my personal experience.]

Other organs are involved too - they all suffer from this. kidney cleanse, gallbladder and liver flushes, will help leter on too.

Then, diet will make a difference. Good diet is the basis of all healing, to stay healed.
Low on those processed carbs, even the ones that say Atkins! Try to stop all bead for a while, then add in "better" grains than the normal wheat and so on. Oatmeal, then rye, then barley, after that, the other grains are full of gliandin you don't want.

Go big on whole foods - veggies fruits nuts seeds. Organic is 100 times better that "food grown in a pisen environment" [organic foods are the fastest growing sector of agriculture].
