experimentation is key to finding the right formula/situation. Don't give up. Only a very small percentage of folks that just can't find the right tweeks to make it work.
on my first couple of cleanses I had the same problem and just retained the salt all day. If I hadn't experimented I may have reincarnated as a cocktail olive.
Here are a few tricks that I learned.
1) using a cooking thermometer heat the water to 98.6 degrees. in order to digest/process anything, the body will use it's energy to make food/liquid the right temp. This is the thing that absolutely works for me after weeks of trial and years of cleansing.

2)If you were 'regular' prior to the MC, then spastic constipation is probably the problem. In conjuntion to a salt type.
You sound like you are pretty healthy. In this case I would suggest to try making your swf the night before and placing in a thermos by the bed. set the alarm 1-1.5 hours ahead of your regular wake up time,drink the saline, and crash back out. This will help to ensure you are more relaxed for the swf to take effect.
3)Like Zoebess said, massage is helpful as well as squatting against a wall and drinking your 98.6 swf.
4) try a different salt. I have always found 'mined' salt to be far superior that
Sea Salt . These large salt companies,I believe,use heat evaporation to process their
Sea Salt . I assume the temperatures are high (250 degs+)during the evaporation
sequence. I really believe this yields a negative effect to the salt. Mined salt,on the other hand is more nutritious and less 'salty' tasting. I really thing the body likes it more and I'll wager if you switch your body will 'give in' and you'll end up w/Niagra falls!
5)Up your cayenne, especially in the last
Master-Cleanse cocktails of the day. It really gnaws on those nasties in your colon while stimulating it to induce more eliminations. The more the merrier. Ariba!!!
6)up your Mc cocktail intake...I advise a MINIMUM of 8 per day. 600 calories is way to0 little in my opinion for a safe cleanse...Especially for those that are active. I always shoot for 10-12, this amount ensures ALL the h2o you need while providing more of Stan McMan's magic elixir to MELT fat,along w/ all the calories and nutrition you need for a safe and healthy cleanse! If you are getting dehydrated, your body will try to suck up h2o even if it's salt laden...what was Mary Tyler Moore's pal, Bloata? Dehydration is a major cause for a lousy swf.
7)worth repeating.... 98.6 ,mined salt,more cayenne,more
