I just started the cleanse for the first time. I'm on day 2.
I read the book and i know it says to not take anything extra (no pills, ect)
I recently started drinking Kombucha tea and its tasty. Its also good for you so I was wondering if drinking it on the cleanse would be bad.
I make my own but, I drink GT's too

This is a reply to # 793,051There's a lot of things out there that are really good for you. Fresh fruit or vegetable juice is great for you too but you can't have that on the Master-Cleanse either..

This is a reply to # 793,055I agree with Storyofmylife. I love kombucha but I would stay off of it while on the MC, just to be safe. Probably you are not supposed to have anything but what is indicated for a very good reason. It just wouldn't do to compromise your experience if you can at all help it.

Day 3 is pretty hard so far. The urge to eat is pretty strong but i'm holding out.

I am on day 10 and breaking fast tonight with liver flush. While on Master-Cleanse I still drink the Kombucha tea from time to time...I know I am not supposed to, but I figure the kombucha is a cleansing tea and also a liver tonic, so it shouldn't hurt too bad, and so far, no ill effect.
I am not advising to use kombucha with Master-Cleanse here, just a little personal experience for the record. Next time I'll just do straight Master-Cleanse and see if it feels any different. ^_^

This is a reply to # 793,826"For the record" you're not helping anyone here.
It's not a matter of "ill effects" it's a matter of affecting the way the MC works and not getting the full cleansing power as it was designed.
Also one should wait till eating regular and having added oils gradually after the MC so the system is producing bile to have a more productive LF.

This is a reply to # 793,836I'm NOT an expert on the Master Cleanse. I only did it once, and loved the results.
BUT----I don't see what harm it would do to drink Kombucha while on the cleanse. I think it would only add to it's power, and assist the organs and system while cleansing.
I would love to hear what a Nutritionist or N.D., familiar with Kombucha benefits AND The Master Cleanse would say about this.
Again---JUST an opinion based on intuition, NOT knowledge.
I'd love to hear more on this.
