The local healthfood store has some of Dr. Christophers' Black Ointment. It smells like burnt wood which is probably the pine tar. The other ingredients are Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Chaparrel Leaf, Comfrey Root, Red Clover Blossom, Mullein Leaf, Plantain, Chickweed herb, Lobelia, Goldenseal Root, Marshmallow Root, Poke Roote Pine Tar and Beeswax.

The other bottle they have is this stuff called Black Blood Root Salve. That contains Extracts of Organic Blood Root, Chaga Mushroom, Yellow-Dock Root, Calendula & Red Clover Flower, Chaparral Leaf, Sheep-Sorrel Leaf and Flower, Galangal Root, Zinc Chloride, Essential Oils of Evening Primrose, Neem & Tea Trea Oil, Flower & Gem Essences.

After I was swishing olive in my mouth each morning for a while last month, I noticed I got a lump on my lower cheek near my jaw. The same side I have the cavity. I still have mercury fillings yet :'( so I'm betting the olive oil swish probably wasnt a good idea until I get rid of the fillings. That's probably why I got that lump there.

When I use only Dr. Christopher's black salve, I noticed it wasnt making any difference in the lump. When I used Dr. Christophers Black Salve along with the Black Blood Root Salve, the lump got smaller and smaller til its very small now- I'm still going to keep it up til I see it's gone.

If I use either ointment apart from the other one, I see and feel no difference unless I combine the two ointments.
