OK well I am so glad you asked. My second day of fasting just passed; and I hopped on scale this morning.. Holy crap I mean literally. I am down 12 pounds. Granted a lot of that could be water but it seems everything I am drinking I am running to pee out... Also I keep pooping and I havent eaten anything so I guess that 40 lbs of truck rubber in your bowles is leaving as well. Tummy is much tighter and less dimples.. I can really feel it. I am not tired. Infact I may even clean today!!! LOL Hubby will fall off his chair when he hears that. I guess when I think back all the times in my life when I have lost a lot of weight it has been from not eating much. I have always been heavy if I was eating. Like my body just is not down with anything but salad LOL.... OK well I do like a man sized portion as well LOL. I was even watching food channel yestyerday.. For some reason I fond it empowering... That Rachael Ray chick slays me... I am feeling no hunger pangs... Maybe around 3pm but they pass. This is so wonderful... I mean right now I am loving everyone!!!!! (((((((((((hugs))))))))) Do you have any idea how long it would take me to lose 12 lbs if I hadn't found you guys? Before fasting was just an idea but when I began reading your stories I was like hey why not... Even the bible is down with fasting.... Ok must be 3rd day euphoria because I am rambling LOL

Hey last year I did a long master cleanse - I was so hooked on collecting recipes.
for everything.
I printed out hundreds.
for everything.
It was a bit of an obsession. haha
But after the fast I didn't go crazy and cook tons.
I would go through them now and then and find something that sounded good and play with it a bit to make it less fattening, less heavy and I had come up with some pretty yummy dishes.

hey...been posting since last friday...today is my say 6...last thursday night I ate corn out of the can with butter and pepper and rice... that was the last thing I ate... This is a reply to # 693,860I am on day 11 of a 35 day Master Cleanse. I feel great - no hunger, lots of energy - but I am a bit bored with the lemonade and miss food. When I think about food or am tempted to eat I think about what I could eat that is healthy for my body when I'm done fasting. I feel like I am working on changing my eating habits and the way I look at food by doing this. =o)

hey that awesome i can't wait to see a size 6, good for you. Well i broke mine this morning still waiting for my period it should be here by thursday its really messing up this fasting session. I ate 2 donuts this morning yuck no but really they were good lol. anyhow today would have been day 3 so i guess tomorrow will be day 1 i really can't wait till my period gets here.Your doing a great job keep up the good work.

The salt water flush is like a reverse enema - it cleans you out from top to bottom. (If you know what I mean.) Pretty gross, but even grosser if all that crap stayed inside you. It's imoportant to do a SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) or laxative teas or enemas when you are fasting because otherwise you release all these toxins and they have no way to get out of your body since you're not eating an fiber.- Re: WEDNESDAY - Role call

This is a reply to # 693,88832 ounces of salt water with 2 teaspoons of non-iodized Sea Salt . Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I have been doing it almost every day. Usually takes about an hour for all of it to go through. Some people set the alarm for 5 AM, drink the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) and then go back to bed until it starts working. Everybody reacts differently, though. I am also doing the laxative tea in the evening and a second lax tea on the mornings when I can't fit in the salt water flush. Here is another link on how to do the master cleanse, but I really advise reading the book:

hey harmony you are such a great inspiration to all of us congrats on doing such a great job as for myself pms has taken its tole i ate 2 donuts this morning
they were hevenly lol but evil all at the same time

Drink warm to hot water with real lemon juice if you have any.

LOL I don't have to worry about grossing you guys out cuz ur not eating LOL Is that stuff stuck in colon? I thought it would be like the scarey pics of that colon cleaner but nothign that bad so far...
I think if you need to eat you should do a handful of salad. Salad just lettuce and what not or the mixed bags is good for the colon and only 15 yes 15 calories per 1 1/2 cup.
I think fasting is better then the gastral surgery and all that because you are dicisplining yourself to eat better which is what the problem was in teh first place. SO many people get that surgery and 2 years later end up battling with their weight again...

Ok everyone...
I have been fasting for six days but to be honest with you I never thought I could go this far so I never thought of an end date or finding out what to do when I decide to stop...
Here are my questions and I hope some of you with experience can answer them!
1) When are signs that I should stop?
2) Whats the first thing I should put into my body when I do stop?
3) I need some rules to follow because I want this weight to stay OFF!!!! But I know I cant fast forever.
4) The only reason I wont stop now is because I dont want to have to start all over again...But this is my First Fast so I dont want to mess myself up...Am I making sense?

Well today seems to be day one again for me which is great as it happened by accident. Ive been off fasting for over a week...maybe two, not sure but havent put anything back on, so now it's time to get rid of the rest of the weight i want to if possible. I just didnt need to eat today, dont feel hungry, ive naturally clicked into fast mode today, had a juice and other fluids, feel it's time to go for it again. I feel goodabout this as i didnt have to force myself, it just felt right, natural rhythms etc. So well done to you again for your latest fasting achievement and im sure you'll thoroughly enjoy the novelty of food again, ah the wonders! Yesterday I was coughing my ass off and getting little hard chunk balls. My nose was also running.. It's like because your not digesting a bunch of crap your bosy can take care of other things. I began a gallon of gree tea about a month ago and man oh man... It's soo good for your body there isn't enough room to type all the benefits maybe look them up on your own but the second day after I started drinking it I got sick... Bqad cold like symptoms... But it was normal. I guess it gives you so much of what you need to clean and fight off bad things that your body can afford now to fight whatever had gotten into ya... it was weird..
