I feel the same way. I have to feel as though I'm dying in order to go to a doctor. I don't trust them at all.
As for my dog, I don't like her to get shots, either, but as you said, it's necessary for kenneling. I read a book called "The Last Chance Dog." It's by a vet who decided to practice homeopathic veterinary medicine rather than going the conventional route. She mentions how awful vaccines can be for dogs. It's really scary. I need to find a homeopathic or alternative vet in my area. I want what's best for my dog.

I have heard there are alternative vaccines...I don't know if they are qualified as legal alternatives.

You however can simply give your own vaccines much cheaper. I think you local 4-H can help you learn. My Nieces and Nephews have gone to get them at the local feed store.

Not sure how the records are kept. I mean you can only prove you bought the shot...you can't really prove you gave it.
I agree, vaccines are bad for your pet.
