Both vinegars are real good unflavored true apple cidar vinegars.

The mother was taken out of the Whitehouse brand- and it was a bit more filtered.

I always have better results with the Braggs, but every one's body is different.

Maybe your body chemistry reacts much better with the type of chemistry in the Whitehouse brand.

The best-tasting ACV I have found is made by Spectrum (http://www.spectrumorganics.com/index.php) and is available non-filtered (with the mother) and filtered (without the mother). Most of the better-stocked Whole Foods health food stores (http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/) carry both varieties.

I can also say that since the Whitehouse brand is what I have on hand I decided to try it out the other day on some brown spots on my cheeks that appeared 4 years ago when I was pregnant (and decided that they liked their new home on my cheeks and stayed). I used some on my cheeks (being VERRRRYYYY careful not to get it around my eyes) and let it stay on for about 30 minutes or so and then showered. After showering I checked out my cheeks and I thought I saw a change in the intensity of my brown "sploches" but I figured it was probably wishful thinking (lol). So to follow up on it I waited 3 days and did it again, again waiting about thirty minutes till I showered. When my hubby saw me he actually noticed a difference in the "contrast" of my sploches compared to my skin. And trust me if he noticed there had to be a change.

So I guess I have to say that it works with me also!!
