Ms. Alien, I don't understand your attitude. You.... we have all worked really hard to stay on a plan to do something good for ourselves and rid our bodies of toxins. As a perk we loose weight. I don't want to regain that weight. I have read on this board that weight gain after the cleanse is going to happen. Unavoidable! Well... I didn't know that when doing my first cleanse. I didn't even know this board existed when I did my last MC. So......after doing everything by the letter of the law of Master Cleanse; I stumbled on a way to not gain the weight back. I think that's a good thing worth shouting from the roof top! Hey guys, you don't have to gain the weight back! I didn't mean to lick the red off your lolly pop! Don't do it, don't even read or think about it if it makes you so mad! If you do take the time to read the Fat Flush boards you will find they are the same type people as those on this board. Hard working people that get up every morning, go to work, come home, take care of their families, go to bed and then do it all over again the next day. Trying to do something good for themselves and loose weight in the process. I'm trying to do a good thing here. I didn’t write the book or get paid a dime if you do or don't do anything.Here is a sample I put together for anyone else who might benefit from what I have learned. AS IN THE MASTER CLEANSE THERE IS A WHOLE LOT MORE TO LEARN FROM READING THE BOOK! I bought mine used on Amazon for a couple of bucks.
A SAMPLE DAY ON PHASE I OF THE FAT FLUSH PLAN:
The 2-Week Fat Flush Plan
On arising:
Long Life Cocktail
(cran-water with 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed)
Cranwater = 4 oz Unsweetened cranberry Juice to 28 oz pure water OR 3 tablespoons unsweetened cranberry concentrate to 64 oz pure water
Before breakfast:
8 ounces hot water with lemon juice ( I put cayenne in mine)
Breakfast:
Veggie scramble: 2 scrambled eggs with spinach, green peppers, scallions and parsley, and one 8-ounce glass of cran-water Up to 2 eggs a day are allowed
(I usually have a whey smoothie. Whey needs to have 20 g of protein and be unsweetened or sweetened with stevia) One cup fruit, 1 talbespoon flaxseed oil, 1 cup cran-water, 1 scoop whey.
Stevia or Stevia Plus is the only sweetener allowed on this plan
Midmorning snack:
1/2 large grapefruit (apple or some form fruit)
20 minutes before lunch:
One 8-ounce glass of cran-water (8 glasses per day required)
Lunch:
4 ounces of salmon with lemon and garlic, warm asparagus, mixed-green salad with broccoli florets and cucumber, 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil, and one 8-ounce glass of cran-water
(You need 8 oz of lean protein fish, seafood lean beef veal, lamb skinless turkey or chicken. 4oz at lunch & 4oz at dinner)
Midafternoon:
Two 8-ounce glasses of cran-water
4pm snack:
1 apple (2 whole portions of fruit daily)
20 minutes before dinner:
One 8-ounce glass cran-water
Dinner:
4 ounces of grilled lamb chop with a pinch of cinnamon and a dash of dried mustard, sautéed kale in broth, baked summer squash with a touch of cloves, and 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
Midevening:
Long Life Cocktail (Cran-water with flaxseed)
How to Use This Menu
You can use this example as a basic menu guide. Just substitute foods from the same food groups for daily variety. Besides the daily diet, take GLA supplements, a balanced multivitamin/mineral and a weight loss formula containing fat burning and carb controlling nutrients.
Water Drink six eight –ounce glasses of plain water per day for a total of 48 ounces.
Exercise
Phase I 20 min fast walk swinging (pumping) arms
Phase II 30 min of the same
Phase III 45 min of the same and weight lifting
Important Reminder- No herbs or spices except for those fat flushing herbs and spices outlined in The Fat Flush Plan
- No margarine
- No alcohol
- No sugar
- No oils or fats except those in the flaxseed oil
- No grains, bread, cereal or starchy vegetables such as beans, potatoes, corn, parsnips, carrots, peas, pumpkin, or acorn or butternut squash
- No dairy products

MoreThis is a reply to # 255,227this plan sounds better then a lot of the popular low-carb type diets I've seen. At least you eat fresh fruit on it! And cutting out dairy is smart. Buying organic and learning to cook shouldn't be obsticles (as someone posted earlier). I do both and it's worth the extra $$ and running around. Organic food tastes so much more alive! Cooking food yourself actually saves money over eating out or prepackaged foods. Anyway, it looks pretty good to me, though I'm pretty much vegan so I don't know if I could handle all that meat and eggs!

This is a reply to # 255,244Many people are not as flexable in their LIFESTYLES to be able to COOK 3 times a day and have the "PROTIEN" 3 times a day.
It isn't as if we don't all WISH we could be "three times a day COOK'S." Reality sometimes deals us harsh blows and we have to WORK where we cannot cook LUNCHES and prepare elaborate salads and warm our esparagas in the middle of the day!
God bless you both that you are able to LIVE to COOK & EAT, while most of us poor schmoos have to rush off to work and are too tired when we come home to barely cook diner, let alone PRE-FIX the meals required to follow the FFP for the next day.
But I suspect... if you were to add to YOUR EQUASION, 3 kids, a Husband, a BIG home to clean, a dog and a cat... a mortgage to pay and a high stress job, maybe 2 jobs...
You'd both be grabbing a granola bar for breakfast, cereal for the kids and be hauling your butts out the door to work to support and raise that family!
Reality is here at this forum, where people live in the REAL WORLD and are trying to do something truly wonderful for their bodies and minds within their REAL WORLD, and a REAL problem is how to go to the bathroom on & off all all day while on the job.
I think warming the ASPARAGAS is totally out of OUR EQUASION!
At least MY LOLLIPOP IS FAT FREE & isn't Sugar coated and I'm not a spoiled brat!

I am a busy person.
But, I am able to find time to cook at least 3 times a week.
When I cook, I cook multiple servings at one time to prepare for the full week.
It is not easy to do at first, I will admit, but if after you read the book and you see the overall benefits of following this program and how this will help you maintain long term health, and weight loss...
You might see that you are worth the effort.
I am sick and tired of being overweight.
I am sick and tired of not having enough energy to function throughout the day.
I am sick and tired of getting sick and tired.
Something has to change.
It took me YEARS to get in this unhealthy mess and I understand that to change it, I will have to work hard to get solid and lasting results.
I hope you at least give it a good look...

It was a Harmless suggestion by some one that said "you don't HAVE to re-gain the weight back," that has escalated into a full blown KEYBOARD WAR and it is sooo foolish.
TO EACH HIS OWN!
I had to break the Master-Cleanse after 17 days(3 weeks ago) due to getting sick. I am going by the "BOOK" still... three weeks later and I have only gained 3 pounds of the 13 pounds I lost.
For me... that is saying something.
I am not cooking 3 times a day or taking 4 trips a week to the Health food store and spending a small fortune to maintain my weight loss.
I am on the Master-Cleanse and will STAY on the Master-Cleanse before and after the fast. I will stick with the books suggestions on how to prevent re-gaining the weight back.
That's what his forum is all about... the MC!
If a few of us have to deviate a tad here and there, like take an advil or two for the severe headaches during the day while we are working... SO WE DON'T screw something up and LOSE OUR JOBS... well so be it.
Once the headaches are over and we stay on the MC... the stuff gets flushed out of our system anyway... DUH!
I realize now... the MC and the Lemonade will be a major part of my life from here on out.
It will prevent hunger and over eating and keep the weight gain at bay!
It takes a strong person to stick it out past 7 to 10 days and a smart person to know when to quit before that and just do another MC at another time.
There are a lot of strong and determined people here that support each other even during moments of weakness.
It is time to stop the nonsence about this UN-REALLISTIC FFP, because many people DO NOT have the LIFESTYLE or the MEANS to do it!

My obese sister serious health issues, a job, house, family, thinks she can't do MC for all the excuses you mentioned. We all know people like that. You do what you need to do, or want to do. No one is suggesting you do anything instead of MC. We all agree, it's great, easy, and cheap. You can't stay on it forever. You act like she is asking you to give up MC when she has been singing its praises all along. She credited it for loosing all the weight she lost. I think all she ment is that it's an alternative to the crap that got us all overweight in the 1st place. Lighten up. I don't think you even read her posts. You comments are so aggressive and negative they don't make since. I just think you just don't like her, hate her ora or something.

I believe the PROBLEM is, we are NOT ALL IN HER SHOES and have the SIMPLICITY in our lives or the MONEY or the will or way to cook the elaborate 3 protien MEALS A DAY or even the ability to bring them to work and re-heat IIIFFFF we PRE_COOK and that is what it takes for that special diet.
I believe I even said God bless you two for being lucky enough to be able to do that diet!

She is fortunate to be doing the right thing for her body and MIND at such a young age.
I'll say it again, "God Bless her for being able to do it when she did."
And if you are reading the posts... THAT IS ALL OVER WITH NOW.. she isn't even on the stupid FFP and she is considering the Master-Cleanse which is another POSITVE STEP in the right direction!
I find it amazing how some people take a little "REALITY CHECK" and turn it into a full fledge WAR!

You can do it alienlady! I hear your frustration though. Cooking in large batches is the way to go if you work 10 or more hours a day. You can freeze individual portions. Soup is great to take to work. A chicken veggie soup would translate to the FFP, I'm sure. A few hours on the weekend can save alot of time, and get the kids (and husband for that matter) involved with cooking, it's fun!
by the way, I do grab a ganola bar on my way out to work, only I make mine from raw organic fruits, nuts, and suppliments on the weekend. I can mix a batch of about 40 of them in 10 minutes, stick them in the dehydrator and voila! Instand breakfast fo weeks, costing me about 50 cents a bar.
There are a lot of tricks to eating fast and healthy, but it can be done. 3 years and 55 lbs later I'm very happy for it.- Re: granola bar recipe - please! anabanana2006

This is a reply to # 255,269well, i'd have to measure out the portions but the ingredients are:
Raw almonds (maybe a cup or more), soaked overnight and drained
dates (soft ones)
banana
apple
a little cinnemon
Green Powder suppliment (I use Dr Greens, which I love!) http://21daydetox.com/drgreens.html
I grind all this up in a food processer, adding a little water as needed, then spread them on a sheet in the dehydrator. I dehydrate at 108 degrees so it stays raw. maybe 18-24 hrs
This is basically a recipe for a smoothie I love to drink in the morning, and figured out with more nuts and less water it works as a delisious bar to go. I've experiemented with using oats and other fruits too. I love my dehydrator!
I finished the Master-Cleanse a few weeks ago and am sticking to mostly raw now. This is my favorite book for it:

This is a reply to # 255,272Thanks Zoe for the reminder! As much as I read back over the manual it really helps to have advice like this. I'm surprised at how much easier it was to get down that SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) this morning as opposed to the last Master-Cleanse I tried. Maybe, just maybe I can do this.
scudmtgirl, I'm about in the same boat. I have no caffeine (sp) addiction, but I want to eat! I have one last great meal in the fridge calling me now (I won't say exactly what the food is, lol). Just on day one I've thought about breaking like 5 times. I'm barely through a second lemonade. I'd really hate myself for not giving myself a true chance though.

This is a reply to # 255,264I was a MOM of 3 and working 7 days a week... owneded a Pet shop and the critters had to eat too!
Believe me... I had the crock pot going back when they wern't popular. I was a Tupperware queen and froze meals left & right.
On Sundays... was the really big cooking day. I had two 6 quart dutch oven pans filled on the stove with Sause and Meatballs and the meatloaf in the OVEN!
None of my kids were skinny and we NEVER had a doctor bill for any sickness or illness.
I was truly blessed with 3 HEALTHY well built kids. My daughter was in gymnastics all her life so imagine her body!
I had the energy to fix the vegies and salads (or meats/fish/whatever for the night)every night an I don't know how I did it.
I can barely muster up the crock pot soup every few days... but I do.
Some peoples lives are just not geared for special diets and there's no shame in that.
But like the seasons... our lives change and what we learn here in this forum , if it cannot be don now... maybe in a few weeks it can be done, as THINGS CHANGE and through being CREATIVE as you are with the granolla bars.
I even did big batches of the Master-Cleanse Lemonade EVERY DAY when I was on it for 17 days.
Ain't life GRAND with the Master-Cleanse to take the edge off hunger??? I LOVE IT!

This is a reply to # 255,251Once you start using the program it is not as hard or complicated as it might seem.
You can cook large quantites of some of the foods and this way you are not stressed to cook every day.
My hubby and I boiled a weeks worth of eggs every Sunday and this was a great help.
I would prepare a large salad every few days...
You learn tricks to make it easier.
And, you get to be creative...
