Looking for input on what causes Gout, is it uric acid - acid/alkaline issue or iron problem due to lead.
Ive had random gout flare ups, last night being the worst of them. Woke up to throbbing pain in the middle of the night on my right foot, so much so i had to hang the foot off the end of the bed so it didnt touch anything, to go back to sleep. Then woke up and had to hobble around, not pretty.
Spent hours this morning going over past curezone posts. Flare ups seem to happen at night when theres less blood flow to the feet where toxins accumulate.
Some people say its a build up of uric acid from poor diet, acid/alkaline issue
Others believe it is iron issue due to lead, RVF..
Here's a list of remedies ive found in searching
Boron
ascorbic acid for lead
Bromelain
Iodine
Cherry juice
Potassium
Baking soda
I tried a foot detox yesterday, iodine, vit c, niacinamide, neem and the flare up did subside but woke up last night with a massive flare up and still this morning.
Today ive tried a tsp of baking soda, 1/2 tsp of potassium chloride, benfotamine, AOR boron & tri boron, 1 heaping tbsp of ascorbic acid.
Honestly movement seems to work the best, but id like to know what the root issue is.
