I've always liked Greg Laurie. He was trained some by Chuck Smith, but mostly by the Holy Spirit. I was doing some research the other day and found an article that had been written by a so-called Christian who was telling a bunch of lies about Chuck Smith. I was shocked. I knew they were lies. I've personally sat in enough of Chuck's services to know that. I wonder if that person who wrote the article sat in any of Chuck's services. What is going on with Christians today? I understand that we need to examine what ministers are teaching etc., but they go beyond that and tell lies. They are trying to destroy great men of God. What is their motive? Do they know they are doing that or are they just ignorant? Are they deliberately trying to destroy good ministries? Is it for their own selfish gain that they are trying to put other ministers down and out of business so to speak? Don't they care about telling the truth? Are they even Christians themselves?

Here's another one of Greg for you. Just a heads up on the title question. His answer is, "I don't know." We could have used his input when we were debating this on the forum :). That would have made a third view point.
