Has anyone gotten results with addictions/neurosis through nutritional balancing?
I was reading Dr. Wilson's site. I started following some of the program and I think it was helping. Since it says it isn't really a 'do it yourself' program, I contacted one of the practitioners listed. I filled out the forms and submitted them. I tried to be as honest as I could. It was difficult to write down and admit some longterm issues (addictions/neurosis) that I had never told another person.
The practitioner looked over my forms and we exchanged a few e-mails. I was kind of excited that I might be able to make some progress.
Then the practitioner told me that my addictions could cause serious health issues. I know that, that's why I'm trying to deal with them. S/he said s/he was not comfortable working with me unless I made some changes in my addictions first. I don't know why but I felt totally rejected and devestated. I often have trouble with feelings of worthlessness and they really kicked into high gear.
I think some of my issues might have to do with metal toxicity. I was hoping maybe nutritional balancing could help. But the practitioner doesn't feel comfortable working with me because of them. So now I feel stuck. The practitioner suggested seeking professional help / prescription drugs to deal with the addictions first. Maybe that is the right approach, I just don't know.
I'm hoping maybe others who had addictions and tried nutritional balancing could let me know if they had good results and recommend a practitioner that will accept and work with such as a person. Thank you.
