I would think it would be ascaris. I have them routinely travel over my scalp. I have had a big fear about parasites infecting my brain honestly. I keep on telling myself if things got really serious and I started to have convulsions or something then I will go get tested. I just really can't afford any more tests. The other option is what would it do if it was positive. Would a doctor prescribe me any medication that I didn't have access to in tj already. If you strongly think it is a Tapeworm and it is or has moved inside your head then you should consider the treatment of praziquantel for cysticerosis?? sp.. It's much more prazi for a longer duration. I tried to get tested for cysts. I think it was an elisa test but it was negative. But, with prazi I wouldnt' be concerned as much with side effects. Albendazole can be harmful. Praziquantel historically even at higher doses is o.k.. Listen to your body but thinking that praziquantel is going to cause profound side effects I think is going overboard. I believe it is the safest one of the lot. Personally I have never had any problems with it. My last dose was 40mg/kg to treat a schistosoma infection coupled with Artemisia. It definitely helped. As I mentioned before you just need to have good functioning immune system to get the most out of the medicine.
